
Quick go to foods that I like to recommend are below. With a busy schedule, allergies and picky eaters, my goal is usually easy to grab and fresh (and usually without much flair) and to have a healthy balance of fresh carbohydrates, protein and good fats.
Breakfast:
Eggs
Greek Yogurt or Grass-fed yogurt (with fat and ideally from grass-fed cows)
Frozen fruit
Smoothie (including good protein source, fresh/frozen fruits and vegetables)
Lunch:
Sprouted tortillas
Sweet Potato, butter and cinnamon
Salad with TONS of goodies on top (sliced almonds, raisins, pumpkin seeds, peppers, veggies, protein like chicken or fish)
Hummus Fresh fruit or vegetables cut up and served family style
Smoothie (including good protein source, fresh/frozen fruits and vegetables)
Dinner:
Grass-fed, free- ranged protein like chicken, beef or fish
Fresh fruit or vegetables cut up and served family style
Beans
Wild Rice or quinoa
Steamed vegetables with herbs and seasonings
Snacks:
Nut butters and fresh fruit
LARABARS
